Grace  has built a strong reputation as a strategic communications and reputation management advisor and valued partner.  Over the last 30 years in Denver, her dozens of strategic communications and crisis clients have included Unisys, Honeywell, Northwest Airlines, IBM, Western Digital, Bellco Credit Union, US West, McData, First Data, Western Union, University of Denver, many start-up tech companies, new ventures and charities. 

Grace has held PR and strategic communications managerial positions at Fortune 500 companies, including IBM and Kraft, an international PR firm, universities and as president of an award-winning technology PR firm. She was also a reporter for The Jersey Journal in Jersey City, NJ. . Her corporate and agency communications expertise draws from a long history of new ventures, reorganizations, product rollouts, development and branding projects and complex issues management cases.

Grace led corporate communications teams for several public and private companies providing strategic counsel and preparing CEOs to be interviewed on issues ranging from new product launches to M&A, public affairs,  IPOs and complex reputation threats. She was managing editor for an award-winning book about the University of Denver’s architectural history and executive editor and publisher for a client’s ground-breaking book on cannabis banking.

A New Jersey native, Grace holds degrees in journalism and organizational communications, including a  PhD from the University of Denver. Her published dissertation is an experimental study and analysis of the effects of content and media interactions. 

A 1982 Leadership Denver graduate, Grace served on the Denver Metro Chamber Membership Council, Communications Council and Education Council. She has been active in the Denver community serving as vice president of the board of directors at the Arapahoe Mental Health Center and as a board member for the Cardiac Care Unit of Children’s Hospital Colorado, Girls Count, Colorado Press Women and the University of Denver Alumni Association.

Grace’s professional memberships have included the Public Relations Society of America, PRSA Counselor’s Academy, a select group of PR agency CEO’s, the National Association of Women Business Owners, International Association of Business Communicators, American Marketing Association and the Rockies Venture Club.

Grace was one of Glamour Magazine’s  Ten Outstanding Young Working Women in 1988, receiving that award from President Reagan in the Oval Office at the White House and featured in media coverage by Glamour, USA Today, ABC News, Denver Post and NBC’s Today Show  Years later, she was honored with the Pinnacle Award from Fairleigh Dickinson University, the highest award given to alumni for “exceptional excellence in career, service to the community and to the university.”
